The rules have provoked some worries due to the fact that the top-level extension is the only one that specifies what devices must be able to access a website and the way in which this has to happen, breaking the so-called principles of device independence, according to which a site should be designed in such a way as to be opened by most browser applications and devices, be they mobile or stationary.
